F & J Electrical was founded as Raphahlelo & Associates in May 1992. The company is one hundred percent owned by Mr Mpei Freddie Raphahlelo.

F & J Electrical has become a leader in Electrical Infrastructure with a wide range of work done for clients that include Eskom, local municipalities and private companies.

The company currently employs 240 staff of which 100 work for F & J on a permanent basis. The staff component includes qualified electricians, project co-ordinators, supervisors, general workers and office staff.

OHASA Occupational Health and Safety is of the utmost importance to F&J Electrical. We therefore operate in strict accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Construction Regulations.

BBBEE F&J Electrical has been certified a Level 2 BBBEE Contributor by Veri-Com; an independent accredited rating agency. At F&J Electrical we are totally committed to BBBEE and to the development of all our employees to enable them to achieve their full potential.

CIDB F&J Electrical received a CIDB rating of 9EP and 5CE from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIBD).

Electrical Contractors Association F & J Electrical belongs to the Electrical Contractors Association, which represents electrical contractors at all levels, and is recognised by the Government, supply authorities, consulting engineers, CSIR and ESKOM.
